Founded by partners John Bertram and Greg Sackler, Saber Realty Partners is a real estate investment company principally engaged in the acquisition and repositioning of office, industrial and multi-family properties primarily located in major metropolitan areas of in California, Arizona, Colorado and Texas.

With 70+ years of combined commercial real estate experience and in excess of $3 Billion in transactional experience, Mr. Sackler and Mr. Bertram have acquired a keen sense of the fundamental factors affecting the underlying value of commercial real estate assets. By focusing their efforts on these factors, the partners have created substantial value for themselves, their partners and investors. To date Mr. Sackler and Mr. Bertram have returned approximately $250,000,000 to their partners and investors.

Focus & Strategy
The primary focus of Saber Realty Advisors is the acquisition of mismanaged or undervalued core assets and establishing property specific strategies that maximize cash flow and value. Our model is focused primarily on increasing cash flows over the long term as opposed to a short term IRR driven motive.
Our strategy is to protect and enhance our client’s investments and provide consistent cash flow by focusing on the fundamentals: Location, price per square foot, functionality, tenant diversity and managed re-leasing costs.
Founder & General Partner
Greg Sackler
Since inception, Mr. Sackler has directed acquisitions, dispositions and development activities for Saber Realty Partners, including the acquisition of more than 60 properties nationwide totaling over three million square feet and valued at over $500,000,000.
Prior to forming Saber Realty Partners, Mr. Sackler was a general partner at Sandstone Properties, directing all acquisitions dispositions and development opportunities through 2006. Prior to his involvement with Sandstone Properties, Mr. Sackler was a founding member and consistent top producer at Westmac Commercial Brokerage, where he specialized in the sale and leasing of commercial and investment properties throughout the Los Angeles basin.
A Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara, Mr. Sackler is an avid sports enthusiast and an active member of many charitable organizations.
Founder & General Partner
John Bertram
Founding Principal of Saber Realty Partners, a private real estate investment firm formed in 2007. Bertram originally joined Greg Sackler in 2000 as a general partner at Sandstone Properties and engaged in acquisitions of core real estate assets on behalf of high net worth individuals and family members.
Bertram is a graduate of University of California at Berkley (1981) and received a BS in Business Administration and graduated with honors. He is a member of ICSC and serves on the Board of Santa Monica Bay Keepers.
Director of Asset Management
Martin Choi
Mr. Choi Graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelor of Science in Business from Kelley School of Business in 2005.

Mr. Choi joined Saber Realty at its founding in 2006. In his time with Saber Realty, Mr. Choi has served positions in both asset and property management. Mr. Choi now serves as the Director of Asset Management and the Director of Property Management at Saber Realty Partners.

Mr. Choi is an avid sports and automobile enthusiast.
